Securus Technologies has won a Gold Stevie Award in the training department for customer service category in the Stevie Awards for Sales and Customer Service. Secures Technologies is a provider of criminal and civil justice technology solutions. These solutions are for investigation for public safety.
More than 650 executives from around the world gathered on February 24 in Las Vegas to witness the awards presentation. The competition was tough as there were 2,300 nominations (10% increase from 2016) from organizations of all sizes across the world. Contestants were considered in 61 for customer service and contact center achievements categories, 77 professionals acted as independent judges to determine the winners. Some of the top awards included Contact Center of the Year and Consulting Practice of the Year. They were also judged on different categories for sales and business development achievements. Some of the categories included Senior Sales Executive of the Year. There were also categories to acknowledge new providers for various services or products.
When asked about the awards Danny de Hoyos, Senior Vice President of Operations at Secures Technologies, stated “It‘s great to be recognized by independent experts for the great strides we‘ve made in customer service.” The judges gave Secures Technologies very high marks, saying “The role of this company is very important in our society, it’s a good thing that they will always provide good service with the people who need it.”
