Last week's feature column was an interview with Mark Jamgochian, a Maui surfer and artist who is nicked "Bird." To read this interview, and view some cool pix of Bird and his art, click here.

After the interview was published, Bird and DogMan sent a few emails back and forth across the Pacific. Mark liked the interview so much that he wanted to flesh out a few details, correct at least one mistake, and one huge oversighht. So here's a summary of the correspondance. Only too happy to oblige these requests from Bird.

Mark's first reaction was this: "Howz it Bra? I am so sToKed on the InterView you Did!!#$%^^#&#%$$":) It has a really nice flow to it. I love the pictures, they look really good on the monitor. I hate to say it, but my Artwork looks better on the Monitor, its electric, magic, beautiful, exciting, unbelievable, sooooo Coool."

At least one glaring mistake is totally the fault of the FogMan ;>} Here's Mark: "I've been telling my friends about the interview, and the first feedback was you don't have blue eyes! Oh well there went my fantasy." So DogMan replied: "Gee, I really thought you had blue eyes. Shows how observant I am! ;>}"

For someone nicked "DogMan" this oversight is unforgiveable. One of Bird's best friends in life is his dog, of which there was absolutely no mention. Here's what Bird had to say on this one: "Next my friends asked 'What about Sophia Dog the love of your Life!!' Sophia Monta Bella Roselani is a wonderful soul, she loves the beach as much as me. She digs for crabs, swims across the canal at baby beach to chase birds, and runs like rin tin tin, high speeed that girl is." Not much to add to this. DogMan met Sophie at Bird's booth at the Kahului Flea Market. No excuse for leaving out such an important part of Bird's life.

So this shows the DogMan how difficult it is to accurately sum up a person with only several minutes of conversation as the source. And what color are Bird's eyes anyway?

Bird also added details about what he does when he is not in the ocean pursuing art. Suffice it to say here that he's a well rounded guy with a full life in paradise. As he said "this could be the ultimate article about Bird." Don't think DogMan could ever write so well as to meet this challenge, but it's fun to try! At the end of it all, Bird wishes all the readers in cyber land a hearty "A L o H aaaaa!!!!: ) Bird"
