Past edition of this column,
Drifting Airborne, Part 1,
covered the beaches and surf spots of Santa Cruz. You soared through the air along the coast from Capitola to Natural Bridges, pausing along the way to view many of the myriad surf breaks in Surf City North. This week, you continue to drift along the coast, north-west toward San Francisco.
Picture 3. Picture 4. The Aeronaut
This episode gives you the chance to view many of the breaks in the wild and unsettled coast between the town of Santa Cruz and a small beach town near San Francisco. Instead of taking the images in sequence, with captions to explain the spots, this time the presentation puts the challenge on you, the drifting aeronaut.

The images in this column are displayed in random order, with captions that only identify a number. Your task is to array them in proper order, from start to finish. Don't worry about the actual names of these places, just get them in the proper sequence. Email your answer to
DogMan
, and get a chance at a prize.
Picture 7. Picture 8. Sex Wax
The window will be open for email submissions, from February 2, through February 10. All entries with the proper sequence of photos will be considered for prizes. Actual prizes are to be determined, but might include
DogMan Chronicles t-shirts
, autographed sex wax, and more.
Picture 9. Picture 10. In The Runnning
There might be a special bonus prize for the entry that identifies the most spots correctly, but this isn't a required part of the submissions. There might be bonus points for the earliest correct answer. But the main thing is this; just get the photos in the correct sequence and you are in the running for a prize.
